I live in a flat on campus and I share it with 6 other people. We have a kitchen and cook our own meals. We also share a bathroom (1 shower) and a living room. Everyone has there own bedroom which includes a dresser, desk, and shelves. It is a coed flat. I live with 3 aussie guys, 1 aussie girl, 1 korean girl, and 1 zimbabwean girl. It is an interesting combo, but it works well. I think it is going to be a lot of fun. All of my roomies are really nice. We rotate clean the common areas each week. You get a warning first, then a $88 fine. The RA's come check every week and they are really anal. I got a warning this week ( I wasn't even in town..oops) Here are some pics of the flat and my roomies...check it out!

Fun in our flat- someone left all of these hats behind. Daniel, in the black shirt, is my roomie- the others are just friends.

My roomie Kim from Zimbabwe. She is doing her entire degree at Griffith. She is super nice!

My roomie will from Toowoomba, Australia. He is moving out though.

My roomie Daniel and my friend Kristen on our way back from Brisbane.

My roomie Daniel from a town near Sydney, Australia. He plays for a rugby league here.

Kim having fun with the hat!

My roomie Emma from Lismore, Australia. She is a first year student and is really nice, too!

This is the view from my room. There are a lot of trees on campus. Sometimes birds sit outside my window and wake me up in the morning.

This is a wild turkey that was roaming around campus- they are everywhere.

This is the flat that I live in- it is called Barakula. I live on the top floor- it was a blast carry up my bags when I moved in!

This is our kitchen...
